PracticeWise, LLC was founded in 2004 with a mission to advance how evidence and information are used to improve the lives of children and families. Working primarily in children’s mental health, PracticeWise supports individuals working with children and families to be more informed and more prepared, through established knowledge management strategies and resources. The PracticeWise services include professional training, online information resources, books and guides, organizational consultation, and service system design and management. Our core values are that our professional activities and endeavors are grounded in science, publicly verifiable, and self-correcting. PracticeWise offers innovative tools and services to help clinicians and organizations improve the quality of health care for children and adolescents. We strive to bring science and evidence seamlessly into the process of clinical care, whether through child-specific dynamic summaries of the best available research studies, clinical dashboards for visualization of clinical progress and history, or clinical protocols and summaries representing the most common components of evidence-based practices.
