Pramana Medical Centre opened in September 2021, founded by mother and daughter Dr Priya and Raji Krishnan. Pramana’s vision is to provide Health without Barriers. Our practice is entrenched with cultural sensitivity, is trauma informed and focuses on addressing the social determinants of healthcare in parallel with medical care.
At PMC we believe in slow medicine, we take our time to get to know our patients and their family unit. One of our values to ensure we have a collaborative model where health professionals work together to enable the right person at the right time is available to help our patients. Our expert team includes specialist nurses, GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, psychologists, social workers, exercise physiologists, podiatrist, optometrist, chiropractors, phlebotomy, sleep specialist, psychiatrist, a clinical pharmacist and a diabetes educator. We are always looking to expand to ensure we can continue to provide access to affordable health care for our community of patients.
The team at Pramana Medical work very closely with community organisation's, Aboriginal Health Services, and the local hospitals, we work in innovative ways to ensure our patients have continuity of care to prevent a fragmented experience of healthcare care, instead our aim is to deliver a cohesive, integrated experience that actively works towards closing the gap in health outcomes.
