Pretend Lovers

We are Ross and Gabrielle - a shooting director and editor duo based in Glasgow. We collaborate with both agencies and brands on campaigns that need a thoughtful approach, handling everything from initial concept through to the final colour grade. Our films have appeared in festivals, cinemas, and galleries alongside commercial distribution in digital spaces. Recent work includes campaigns for premium whisky brands Bowmore, Chivas Regal, The Glenlivet, Lagavulin, The Singleton, Talisker and more, plus multiple cinema partnerships through Pearl and Dean such as Kia x Curzon and Peugeot x Showcase. Beyond commercial work you'll find us working on documentary projects, stories about craft, and films that capture the relationship between people and place. We love to celebrate our local community here in Glasgow - collaborating with local artists, musicians, makers and general lovely folk.
