I made a decision over 10 years ago to completely change my career path and trained as a coach and I have never looked back. I really enjoy working with individuals and teams, helping them make the most of their talents and enabling them to have fulfilling careers.
My coaching is always practical and tailored for the individual’s own situation, needs and aims. My style is friendly and informal; however, I am not afraid to challenge or give honest feedback.
My training is in psychology based coaching and I am accredited as a Senior Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), ILM Level 7, CMI Level 7.
I provide coaching in the following areas:
• CAREER COACHING – I work with individuals who are looking to make the most of their career, looking at what they want out of their career and working life, evaluating options, questioning assumptions and encouraging them to open their minds to the possibilities available.
• EXECUTIVE COACHING - I act as a completely independent sounding board and challenge assumptions, helping to reset thinking to achieve a behavioural change brought about by an increase in self-awareness. My focus is always on the individual, creating an environment of trust and psychological safety allowing them to be honest with me and, more importantly, with themselves.
• TEAM COACHING - Team coaching gets into the heart of team behaviours and interactions and is aimed at medium and long term changes rather than short term goals. Team coaching is used to improve some specific aspects of team performance, make things happen faster or make things happen differently.
I have coached hundreds of individuals from start-up business owners to directors of global organisations and in the public sector with Local Government, NHS and Emergency Services.
