The research project PROCUREGREEN is funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark for the period 2022-2024.
PROCUREGREEN is run by professor Carina Risvig Hamer, Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen in close cooperation with professor Ole Helby Petersen, RUC, and Søren Kjær Foged, VIVE.
The aim of PROCUREGREEN is to:
1) Analyse how green requirements can legally be taken into account in public
purchasing and whether such should become mandatory.
2) Examine national data on how GPP is used (and not used) in public contracts and facilitate learning about best practice.
3) Examine how contracting authorities can ensure that suppliers comply with the
green requirements in the contracts.
PROCUREGREEN will run a serie of webinars and conference(s) in 2022 and 2023.
