About Professional Scribing
The Professional Scribing business was formed to ease the clerical demands that face managers and their organisations when recruiting staff. Professional Scribing is based in Canberra and serves clients across the ACT region of Australia. By providing managers with personal assistance to draft documentation and undertake clerical work means managers can better focus on the strategic side of selecting the right staff, in the right place at the right time. Professional Scribing has successfully developed a quality, low-cost solution to increase productivity and efficiency for the public or private sectors across the ACT. Professional Scribing is owner operated by long-term Canberra resident Warren Weiss and commenced operation in July 2018. Warren has worked extensively in the Australian Public Service (APS) where he had over 10 years’ experience scribing selection reports or vetting reports drafted by scribe firms to meet Agency and APS wide standards. Warren has worked in HR Units of several APS Agencies, including Treasury, Attorney-General’s, Education/Employment and Health. Warren is a former career public servant who is motivated and adopts a professional approach to everything he does, he enjoys writing and editing documents, he communicates in a friendly professional manner and is organised, reliable and punctual. He enjoys working as part of a team and the results the team is able to produce. Should your organisation be within the ACT and require the services of a scribe I can be contacted, in the first instance, at proscribing@iinet.net.au. Note I am currently undertaking a scribe assignment for two APS Agencies who are prepared to offer comments should you need. Best regards Warren Weiss July 2018
