PROGRESS.guide

Founded by a clinician (Manaan) and a social scientist (Chiara), PROGRESS.guide aspires to translate the science of mental health into the art of compassionate care through innovative training and coaching programmes. Originally conceived in Cambridge, UK but now based in Brisbane, Australia, the principal focus is on suicide prevention. PROTECT (PROactive deTECTion), the flagship training programme support professionals in striking the balance between risk and recovery as they empathically engage a person in suicidal distress. Other key areas involve reducing coercion in care, embedding person centered care through care planning along with programmes on leadership, governance, innovation and transformation of services.
