At The Project to Decolonize Coffee, we believe coffee can transform lives. Our mission focuses on economic development, empowering Colombian communities transitioning from the shadows of the drug trade and armed conflict to prosperity through quality coffee farming. By fostering local economies, we provide stability, opportunities, and hope. Through environmental sustainability, we collaborate with coffee farms to reduce their environmental footprint by implementing eco-filters, planting carbon-reducing flora, and promoting regenerative agricultural practices, ensuring a thriving ecosystem for future generations. On the social sustainability front, we support communities transitioning from illicit agriculture with training, technical assistance, and access to a special monetary fund that offers zero-interest loans to help farmers improve operations, purchase equipment, and pay workers, fostering sustainable livelihoods and social resilience. Together, we’re not just growing coffee—we’re cultivating dignity, progress, and a brighter future for all.
