Project 22-05

Project 22-05 Laboratory was established with a vision to assist in the transformation of society towards sustainability through interdisciplinary research, development and innovation in the area of energy generation and utilization. This research laboratory is a consolidated group of researchers and faculties of Kathmandu University who has been actively engaged and carried out research activities in the areas of energy and environment sustainability. The stakeholders of ESTRL are aware of and consider the immediate threat to the environment resulting due to inappropriate, inefficient and impetuous generation and utilization of energy as a critical issue which needs to be addressed in urgency. ESTRL is thus committed to growing and adapting to the emerging responsibility of academia to resolve this threat to the environment. To address this issue from micro level, ESTRL with a group of competent and experienced researchers and academia has designated following as its core working domain.
