Need a prototype built? Are you involved in manufacturing and have "rats and mice" assembly tasks that distract you from the real value-adders? Would a specialised piece of equipment help to improve your throughput/quality? I have recently started my own business to offer my technical expertise and skills to help other businesses or individuals to turn their ideas into working prototypes. You may have a team of engineers who design the product but don't have anyone to assemble it, or you have an idea but don't know how to get it to the prototype stage. This is where I can help. I use my knowledge and experience gained from years of working with teams of various Engineering disciplines including Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Software and Reliability. My skills and experience include PCB assembly (PTH and SMD, previously IPC certified), PLCs, low-voltage DC systems including diesel generator power supplies and solar as well as mechanical enclosure fabrication/modification. If I don't have the skills to solve your problem I am always up for learning new skills so I can. Some learning I have been undertaking include Raspberry Pi, Arduino, C/C#, Python, PowerApps, PowerShell as well as PCB design. I regularly salvage materials from unused items to use in future projects including enclosures, brackets, fasteners as well as harvesting useful electronic components from old circuit boards. There is always something useful to save before disposal!
