Propel2Excel is a national nonprofit unlocking access to elite careers in technology, consulting, and finance for students from non-target universities—institutions often overlooked by top employers despite housing some of the nation's most driven and capable talent—Community Colleges, HBCU’s and Universities with low success rates of students interning or receiving full-time offers at prestigious firms. Since launch, Propel2Excel has: Placed 300+ students, generating $30M+ in first-year salaries Activated 15,000+ students across 900+ campuses in all 50 states Built a network of 11,200+ industry volunteers from FAANG, MBB, and top banks Propel2Excel’s program is split into two phases: Phase 1: Community-Driven, Gamified Development Students earn points by actively engaging in peer-led professional growth—reviewing resumes, sharing resources, collaborating on projects, preparing together, and more. These points unlock exclusive upskilling and recruiting opportunities from top corporate partners, creating a self-motivated ecosystem where ambition fuels access. Phase 2: The Ivy League Recruiting Experience (Selective 100) The top 100 students are handpicked into Phase 2 and paired with a coach at their dream company—often sourced from employee resource groups (ERGs). These coaches guide students through a four-stage experience: Executive Engagements – Direct access to speakers and mentors from top firms LinkedIn & Resume Rebranding – Led by senior professionals and industry veterans Targeted Interview Prep – Pairing students with insiders in their chosen roles Candidate Readiness – Vetted and endorsed for exclusive hiring slates shared with companies like Google, McKinsey, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and more By combining scalable peer-powered development with elite-level coaching, Propel2Excel turns overlooked students into top-choice candidates—not through theory, but through proof.
