ProTerra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to promote social and environmental responsibility at all levels of the feed and food production system. It assists all food operators to implement and demonstrate their sustainability commitment effectively. ProTerra Foundation pursues the following objectives: - Make the ProTerra Standard a credible, widely recognised certification standard, which becomes the first choice for sustainable and fully traceable agricultural commodities - Promote and raise awareness on the benefits of certified non-GMOs crops, particularly soy and sugar - Scale-up responsible and sustainable agricultural practices worldwide so consumers can be confident that their demand is attended. Businesses, consumers and NGOs sharing the same vision are welcome to become part of the ProTerra Network.
