PUAO intends to achieve the following objectives:
1. To foster and cultivate alumni engagement activities at all departments of the university by providing support and facilitation at university level.
2. To establish a link between Punjab University Alumni Office and all alumni associations at departmental levels in the country and abroad.
3. To impart registration identities to the alumni for possible benefits.
4. To provide and disseminate information regarding alma mater, its graduates, faculties and students to the alumni through print and digital media channels.
5. To identify, recognize and honor high achieving/distinguished alumni of the university and create an impact in the community by sharing the achievements globally.
6. To seek donations and raise funds from potential alumni & collaborate for various opportunities benefitting the students and university.
