Public Disco Society

Public Disco was founded to bring new life to under utilized public space thanks to an initial investment from the City of Vancouver's VIVA Refresh program. We now work with partners such as brands, business associations and festivals to produce events in a range of unconventional urban spaces from plazas and laneways to converted industrial buildings. We find innovative ways to present local arts and culture in the public realm. Through this process we seek to help rethink what’s possible in public space. This medium is a powerful tool to break down barriers of social interaction and bring diverse groups of people together to enjoy music and art side by side.
