'Pull Up A Chair' is a collaboration between Pete Jenkins of 'Detail Photography and Cath Preston of 'Business By Referral' Pete Jenkins is a photojournalist with more than thirty years experience.‘Fleet Street’ newspapers, magazines, books, public relations and new media; from black and white dunk tanks to tethered digital shooting. Formerly a sports specialist working in London, Pete is now based in Nottingham, East Midlands. His clients have included the UK Photographic press (amateur and professional), East Midlands Business, Unions, magazines, newspapers, and anyone else who requires his unique specialist skills. In 2018, Pete is an established Conference and event specialist, working for a wide variety of clients, and although centred in the East Midlands works all over the UK. Cath Preston has 20 years experience of helping businesses grow through implementing effective referral marketing strategies. Cath started her first business in 1999 and built a successful catering supplies company supplying some of the largest international caterers and specialising in inflight catering. The company was built by relationships and referral although she admits that was more by working it out as they went along. She wishes she had known then what she learnt since! When Cath started networking seriously she was told "when you have a strong network you can use it to build whatever you wish". 20 years on and with several diverse business interests, amazing clients and, yes, a few rocky days along the way she is passionate about helping others build the business, and lifestyle, they want, by referral.
