Founded in 1974, and previously known as G.R & J. Atkinson and Atkinson Containers, PurePac continues to be a family run and owned business. Something we are extremely proud of.
In the early days, the business dealt purely in the reconditioning and recycling of steel drums. We soon added plastic containers of various shapes and sizes to the product portfolio. We were in fact, one of the first companies some 20 years ago, to start reconditioning IBC Tanks.
With over 200 regular customers in the food & drinks, perfumery, pharma, and chemical industries, some of whom have been with us from the very start. PurePac has organically grown from strength to strength. With no dedicated sales force, we like to make a point of telling people that the vast majority of our custom has come from recommendations, and our reputation for high quality products and excellent customer service.
We have seen many industry changes over the last 40 years; manufacturing moving overseas, increasing exports and changes in packaging and recycling legislation. At PurePac, we pride ourselves on having the ability to quickly adapt to these changing circumstances, and to continuously offer our customers the right products and services for their requirements – at the right price.
