PWN Norway

PWN Norway is a community advancing gender-balanced leadership through high-level events, networking, and professional development programs. Professional Women’s Network Norway is affiliated with PWN Global, an international network of city groups that support and promote professional women. PWN Norway was formerly known as AIPBW (Association of International Professional and Business Women). Since our foundation in 1994, we have been a leading forum in Norway for resourceful women from all around the world. For 20 years PWN Norway has been bringing together women from public and private sector, from a variety of businesses and professions, from multinational companies to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Our objective is to provide a cross-disciplinary networking and experience-sharing arena for international women. WHAT WE DO Every first Wednesday of the month we hold our afterwork Monthly Meetings. These meetings are free for our members and priced 150 NOK for non-members. A Monthly Meeting starts out with a networking session where light snacks are offered. It continues with a professional presentation of a certain topic and has a discussion/questions session at the end. After the presentation the attendees continue with networking. Our Monthly Meetings offer an invaluable opportunity for its members and guests to connect and expand one's network. In addition we organise Special Events which usually take place at the end of the month. These are more in-depth sessions with an expert of her/his field where the topics can vary from Improve Your Communication to Find Your Drive to wine tasting. Special Events usually bring together a smaller number of ladies with similar interests and/or needs creating an excellent arena for sharing experiences and knowledge. For a Special Event a fee might be applicable for members and non-members.
