QInsight is an organization that nurtures passionate leaders dedicated to shaping a more inclusive world through selfless service and social empowerment. Acting in partnership with the University and Kingston communities, it is the club’s duty to build good citizenship with compassion and understanding of the social model of disabilities; which conveys the United Nations’ belief that a disability is not an individual’s inability to do something but rather the society’s inability to provide the necessary resources for the person to succeed. In attempt to unfold the definition of a disability into an unbound category, the members will lead interactive campaigns, fundraisers, and events that encourage the community to view disabilities as unique, personal challenges instead of distinct barriers to success.
