Quality Forging Steels is a stocking distributor of forging quality carbon, alloy and stainless steel semi-finished ingots, billets and bars. QFS's focus is having the right grades and sizes in stock in order to meet short delivery requirements. We sell primarily to the open and closed die forgers and seamless rolled ring producers.
QFS strategically warehouses in both Youngstown, Ohio and Houston, Texas.
Grades include:
Alloy Steels: 4130, 4140/42, 4150, 4320, 4340, 4340VAR, 4820, 8620 and 9310
Carbon Steels: 1020, 1029/1030, 1045/50, A105/A350 Gr. LF2 and A707 Gr. L3
Chrome Moly: ASTM A182 Gr. F11/F12, F22, F5/F5a, F9, F91 and F6a (Type 410 Stainless)
Stainless: 304/L, 316/L, 17-4PH, 15-5PH including VAR and many others.
