Quality in Pathology (Qualitätssicherungs-Initiative Pathologie QuIP GmbH) is the provider of quality in pathology in Germany. QuIP supports pathologists and pharmaceutical companies, as well as diagnostics providers in comparing and optimising their research results. At the same time, QuIP continually develops methods to enhance knowledge. To this end, QuIP has been offering proficiency tests since 2004. QuIP is a joint venture of the German Society of Pathology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Pathologie e. V. – DGP) and the Federal Association of German Pathologists (Bundesverband Deutscher Pathologen e.V. – BDP).
