Our research projects are student-led and in collaboration with graduate students and professors, targeting modern scientific issues affecting society and advancing the scientific community.
Our workshop portion provides an interactive and engaging environment for members to learn more about the biotechnology industry and academic fields. Through conferences and a final symposium, we showcase the development of biotechnology at Queen's and how undergraduate students are achieving
achieving scientific success around campus.
The aims of QAB
i. To offer opportunities to conduct undergraduate research projects to further understand the field of biotechnology through hands-on exploration of topics.
ii. To generate student interest in biotechnology and expose individuals to biotechnology applications such as industry or commercialization.
iii. To facilitate a social environment where like-minded individuals can gather to discuss biotechnology and related interests.
