Each year our student-lead team tackles a real world problem using synthetic biology and presents its findings at the annual international Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition in Boston.
QGEM provides students with an opportunity to learn and teach synthetic biology, whether it is through closely working with Queen's University professors, or through local community events like the Kingston Science Rendezvous.
