We started Queen of Hearts to inspire positive nutritional and social change in the food system through supporting our local farmers to grow industrial nutritional hemp. Our core product line - our Superfood Dressings - are remarkably vibrant; made to nourish salads, people and planet. We like to say we are doing dressing differently. With 30% of our ingredients coming from the mighty hempseed, our dressings are not only the most nutrient-dense dressings on the market; they're also the most planet-positive condiment on the shelves. The hemp seed, at the heart of our dressings, happens to be one of the most well balanced plant proteins on the planet? With the perfect balance of Omega 6 to Omega 3 fatty acids, all 21 amino acids, and a robust rainbow of vitamins and minerals, there is no other plant that delivers so much balanced nutrition in one little seed. Part of our mission of inspiring nutritional and social change in the food system means we walk the talk. We speak at legislative hearings, farm coop meetings, department of agriculture events, hemp events, food events, animal health events, cooking demos and much more to find ways to promote growing this crop and developing a healthy supply chain that will sustainably and nutritionally feed humans and animals while also renewing our soils and agriculture system. The hemp seed and it's products hemp hearts, hemp seed oil, and hemp protein, have GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) for safe, legal inclusion into any food as an ingredient.
