About Tonia Farman
Started Queen of Hearts Superfoods after witnessing the toxic effects of cancer treatment and poor nutrition in my recent former life of working in cancer survivorship. Seeking a sustainable and healthy plant to work with in the process, I stumbled on the hempseed (the heart), which is truly at the heart of everything we make. The hempseed is agriculturally sustainable, helps renew our soils, and provides a great rotation crop for farmers. I'm a brand-builder, educator and supporter of changing the food system for good. I like socially-impactful work with a dash of fun. Founded Project Koru, a nonprofit that helps young cancer survivors rebuild their lives after cancer through empowering outdoor experiences and the community they build along the way.Working with cancer survivors' challenges with diet and nutrition inspired a new drive and direction.... learning and sharing the incredible nutritional profile of the hemp plant.My goal is to align myself with other individuals, businesses and foundations who share similar values and building socially and globally conscious brands surrounding health, the planet, and community.
