Créée en 2010, la Queer Palm est un prix remis à l’issue du Festival de Cannes, récompensant un film de long-métrage, ainsi qu’un court-métrage, traitant de thématiques ou de personnages LGBTQ+, féministes
ou remettant en question les normes de genre.
Le jury délibère parmi une sélection de films transversaux à toutes les compétitions cannoises (Officiel, Semaine de la Critique, Quinzaine des cinéastes, ACID).
Founded in 2010, the Queer Palm is a prize awarded at the end of the Cannes Film Festival for a feature-length film, as well as a short film, both dealing with LGBTQ+, feminist themes or characters, or challenging gender norms.
The jury deliberates on a selection of films that cross all the Cannes competitions (Officiel, Semaine de la Critique, Quinzaine des cinéastes, ACID).
