smartER is an open source product that assists developers in on-boarding new SQL databases. It aims to take the guesswork out of your querying by showing you only the relevant part of your ER diagram as you build your query.
smartER parses through your query while you are typing to dynamically render an ER diagram based on the columns and tables you have selected.
Seeing a visual representation of the tables in your query with the selected columns highlighted would be helpful on its own, but smartER doesn’t stop there! The real power of smartER is that it shows you what relationships you can leverage to continue to build your query out. That means if you SELECT name FROM people, you’ll see right away that the people table has direct relationships to species and planets, as well as many-to-many relationships to vessels and films via their respective join tables.
