R-evolution

R-evolution is a training charity that upskills individuals in two skills gaps evident within the Humber, soft mechanics and horticulture. Our professional mechanics, horticulturists and life coach work to bridge the gap by delivering City and Guilds qualifications in these areas and provide the trainees with life skills needed to find future employment. The cycle project aims to reduce bicycles going to landfill by refurbishing bikes with new parts or even taking parts from the oldest bikes to help create fully functioning, safe bikes. We do this to then make them accessible to those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford one. We takes these bikes to Bike Libraries where we do one year free loans in schools, commercial centres and more with the hope that we can help: lower carbon emissions, reduce waste, improve employment statistics and give people an opportunity to cycle, whether for necessity, to gain a new skill or to help their mental health.
