About Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC)

The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) is a Federal Government Parastatal under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology and is vested with the responsibility to develop local raw materials and coordinate research efforts in relation to raw materials acquisition, exploitation, conservation and development. The Council was established on February 10, 1988 through Decree 39 now Act 28 of 2022 as amended.
