Resource Education And Charitable Trust (REACT): REACT is a trust committed to empowering economically weak youth, particularly Persons with Disabilities, Women and LGBTQs, through placement assistance and skill development training. We offer a range of services to persons with disabilities, companies, universities, and colleges. Resource was incepted on October 2, 2022. Our founder, Ramesh Duraikannan, has extensive experience in this sector, having successfully helped place 1500 PwDs in his previous assignment. REACT’s approach to empowering the disabled and economically weak is that it does not simply provide job opportunities but also sensitizes and trains employers, educators, and candidates to be more inclusive and accessible. This holistic approach ensures that the job seeker is fully supported in the workplace, from accessibility to career growth. REACT’s services are designed to address the challenges faced by the target group in seeking employment. The sensitization workshops, which are customized to meet the needs of the companies, aim to reduce the stigma and myths surrounding disabilities, lgbtqs in the workplace. Additionally, REACT provides sourcing and recruitment assistance for companies and works with them to design policies and activities that promote inclusion. One of REACT’s key services is helping universities and colleges prepare the candidates for employment. This is done through campus training for candidates, sensitization workshops for educators and campus placement drives. The campus training aims to equip candidates with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to enter the workforce. Overall, REACT’s efforts have resulted in a positive impact on the employment of persons with disabilities, LGBTQs and the economically weak. By bridging the gap between employers and job seekers from this diverse group, RESOURCE is helping to create a more inclusive and accessible society.
