Too many times I hear the recriminations of those who wish they'd enquired and recorded more about their parent's ancestry and early life before they passed away. These wonderful memories and family history details are lost once they can no longer be communicated. At Record My Past, our focus is on future-proofing family histories and personal stories before they are lost to the passing of time, disability and the disconnect produced by fading memories. From assistance with family history research and tree building to capturing personal stories, we offer a range of services to suit all budgets. Past projects have included organising and fact-checking a client's existing family research before curating the information and records into presentation binders; facilitating research processes and the input of findings into genealogy software; recording, transcribing and editing personal life stories into hardcover books with accompanying images; editing a 7-generation family history for publication.
