Vilson Groh Institute

We, at the Vilson Groh Institute (IVG), are an NGO founded in 2011 that integrates strategies, articulates, and engages in dialogue with people and organizations committed to the sustainable and equitable development of society in Florianópolis and neighboring cities. Our primary focus is on creating connections for territorial development and transforming the reality of children, teenagers, and young people living in impoverished communities through assistance initiatives focused on education and strengthening peripheral entrepreneurship. Additionally, we work across sectors to coordinate and support the organizations and social schools that belong to the IVG Network (Rede IVG). Within this network, we strive to ensure that various actions are interconnected, as we believe that a path of opportunities that encourages leadership and autonomy is crucial for provoking profound and lasting transformations in the lives of the people we impact.
