Talks and workshops helping to create inclusive workplaces, schools and homes. As a passionate advocate for the rights and fair treatment of autistic people, I deliver training and speak about how autism intersects with race and impacts the experiences of neurodivergent individuals in society. I am available for talks, workshops, and advisory services on these topics to parenting groups and employers. In addition, I host a podcast that aims to break down the barriers faced by parents and carers of autistic children as well as autistic individuals from Black, brown, and ethnically diverse communities. On my podcast, I share stories and tips and provide a safe space for listeners to connect with their feelings and know they're not alone. As a mother to an incredible autistic son, I learn from him every day and continuously work on my own past and healing journey. My background as a solicitor skilled in dispute resolution, drafting, and property law gives me a unique perspective on navigating complex legal and business issues. With more than 11 year’s experience as an Ombudsman Manager, I specialised in resolving and mediating financial services disputes, particularly those related to the Equality Act and cases brought by vulnerable customers. As co-chair of the award-winning BAME staff network, I would passionately champion inclusion in the workplace. I am dedicated to advocating for marginalised communities and creating a more equitable world.
