I specialise in family and matrimonial law, with a focus on complicated, high-net-worth divorces. I have nearly two decades of experience, during which I’ve amongst others developed expertise in uncovering hidden assets in divorce proceedings. I also handle antenuptial agreements, change of matrimonial property regimes, maintenance, parental rights & responsibilities, contact to minor children and domestic violence interdicts.
As an accredited member of the South African Association of Mediators (SAAM - https://www.saam.org.za/saam-directory/), I understand how sensitive legal matters involving minor children can be and how vital it is to handle these matters with the utmost of care. That is why I also offer the following legal services: surrogacy, adoptions, guardianship, and parenting plans.
While I specialise in family law, I also practice general and commercial law, with an emphasis on property and construction law. I practice predominantly in the High Court, but also in the Regional and District Courts, as well as the Supreme Court of Appeal.
