RE-ENVISIONED aims to transform our schooling system so it empowers teachers and students as positive changemakers, in their lives and communities. This starts with creating a new, shared vision for the role of schooling in our broader lives. But we know this vision cannot come from a small group: it must emerge from a new conversation that engages a broad range of stakeholders.
We are working to create a new conversation about schooling from which a shared vision can arise by capturing and sharing people’s stories about what they want for their lives, their children’s lives, and our society, and how schooling fits into that larger vision. These stories will be used to find areas of consensus and to re-frame how we, as a nation, collectively view the role of education in society.
