Refugee & Migrant Education Network

RME Network has been founded in 2017 to create a supportive and inclusive network that connects universities, not-for-profit organizations and individuals, actively fostering collaboration and advocacy on issues in refugee education. It facilitates educational programs and initiatives aimed at addressing and illuminating education-related challenges faced by refugees and migrants, and promotes practical research in this area, drawing on inputs from practitioners and academic institutions. As a global platform of dynamic collaboration, the members, partners and collaborators of RME Network aim to accompany refugees and migrants in whatever living conditions they may find themselves to obtain and build on their education — whether they be in a refugee camp or an informal urban settlement, whether they find themselves internally displaced within the country of origin, residing in a transit country, or settled in a host country.
