Reglass has been operating for over 45 years in the processing of carbon fibre for structural applications. It uses advanced composite materials: polymeric resins and carbon fibres are transformed into prepreg sheets, subsequently used to produce high performing tubular products.

The business activity began in 1911, initially dealing with the trade and repair of bicycles and accessories. After the bombing of the factory during the Second World War, a thorough reconstruction and development had to follow, starting the production glass fibre fishing rods in the early 1960s.
At the end of the 1970s, Reglass revolutionized the world of fishing by using, for the first time, carbon fiber in the manufacture of rods. Further development of the manufacturing technology allowed the production bicycle frames, windsurf masts and ski poles.
At the end of the 90s, the production of industrial rollers is firstly coupled with the manufacture of sporting goods. The production methods developed for sports equipment are firstly adapted to the industrial production: carbon fibre rollers for printing presses, converting equipment and packaging industry in general.
More recently, the debut in the civil engineering/construction sector with the development of Sismocell anti-seismic devices which, by exploiting the combined properties of steel and carbon fibre, are able to mitigate the destructive effects of the earthquake in precast structures.
Over the years, various important collaborations have occurred in the automotive sector with Lamborghini, again in the sports sector with ad-hoc productions and in the aerospace sector that allows the company to participate in important space missions, through the supply of carbon fibre satellite components.
