Welcome to the official page for Reimagining Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), a pioneering initiative dedicated to transforming how we teach and learn about relationships and sexuality in the digital age. Our approach is grounded in the principles of safe uncertainty—balancing guidance and critical reflection to help educators and young people navigate the complexities of relationships and sexual development. We provide evidence-based resources, training, and collaborative opportunities for educators, practitioners, policymakers and researchers to improve RSE practice and pedagogy. Through cutting-edge research and co-designed interventions, we focus on empowering young people to think critically about sex and relationships, rather than simply transferring knowledge or reinforcing rigid norms and standards of behaviour. Our work builds on our research, practice and a successful pilot programme, which has tackled the challenges of digital technology on young people’s sexual lives and harmful sexual behaviours in schools. We explore diverse themes such as digital intimacies, image-based sexual abuse, online harms, consent education, influencer culture and gender equality. Our mission is to promote holistic, inclusive and participatory approaches to RSE that address young people’s experiences in their broader social and cultural contexts.
