Relational Minds provides services in psychiatry, psychology and mental health education and training. We specialise in the mental health care of children, adolescents, young adults and their families. We are developmentally focused and trauma informed. Our point of difference is in the care we provide families.
Our team are changing the way we look at the mental health care of children. We will look after the parents and carers first. Getting the ‘safe base’ right is the first and crucial step in treatment but also in prevention of mental illness in children. Our goal to be co-parents as they become our co-therapists will not only be a proven way to recovery, it also makes sense for the family, as well as answer the health resource conundrum we find ourselves in.
