Beyond Srebrenica

Beyond Srebrenica is a Scottish Charity whose purposes are to advance education about the Srebrenica Genocide, and other atrocities across Bosnia during the early 1990s and to advance citizenship, reconciliation and religious and racial harmony and to promote equality and diversity by tackling hatred and intolerance, and helping to build a better, safer and more cohesive society. Our aims are: - To raise awareness in Scotland of what happened in Srebrenica, and elsewhere in Bosnia Herzegovina, through visits, civic engagement, education, media and events. - To generate new, and support existing, memorials in Scotland to commemorate key events during the conflict in Bosnia from 1992 to 1995. - To arrange for invited delegates from Scotland to visit Srebrenica and thereafter raise awareness in Scotland of the genocide. - To promote the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, ethnicity or religion by raising the awareness of the public in Scotland concerning the causes and effects of hatred, intolerance and prejudice in society including the impact of the Srebrenica Genocide and other acts of systematic discrimination which have led, or had the potential to lead, to genocide. www.srebrenica.scot Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/beyondsreb Twitter: @beyondsreb Threads: @beyondsreb Instagram: @beyondsreb Email enquiries@srebrenica.scot Registered Charity (SCIO) Number SC046540
