ReSource Traceability

ReSource is a battery materials traceability solution dedicated to enhancing transparency and sustainability across the EV battery supply chain. Our mission is to support compliance with evolving industry regulations, including the EU Battery Regulation and the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). We enable traceability of physical flows of critical minerals, offering accurate insights into the ESG performance of the supply chain for OEMs and battery cell manufacturers. By accessing primary traceability data directly from the source—at the mine—we verify the provenance of all critical minerals used in EV battery production. Founded in 2021 by CMOC, ERG, and Glencore, ReSource is supported by Umicore, RMI, and the Cobalt Institute. Our platform is developed with input from responsible sourcing and supply chain experts from across the industry, proactively addressing the growing demand for end-to-end transparency in the battery value chain.
