retailCURe is a credit union; serving anyone who works in retail or related industries. Members save to create a common pool of savings, which is then used to provide loans to members who wish to borrow.
We enable our members to build savings in a protected environment at reasonable rates and provide access to trusted, safe and affordable credit.
retailCURe has no external shareholders: all profits made are kept within the business. We exist solely for the benefit of our members.
Unlike other lenders we offer savings accounts and only provide loans on the basis that members agree to put an additional 10% of their monthly loan repayment in an Easy Access savings account. By the time they’ve finished paying off their loan they will also have a financial buffer for future expenses.
retailCURe is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Individual deposits with the credit union, of up to £85,000, are guaranteed
under the government’s Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
