RetailROI is a grassroots charity of people in the retail industry working together to provide real solutions for orphans and vulnerable children.
Our Why
Orphaned children and foster kids are the most vulnerable in our society. We believe that with our skillsets, networks, and funding we can provide real solutions to help these children have a better future.
The need is great.
* If orphans were a country they would be the 8th largest country in the world.
* For foster kids that age out of the US system, 85% of the boys are incarcerated, homeless or in prison within 18 months and over 70% of the girls are pregnant, homeless or in prison in that same time.
We believe we can help break this cycle using our skills, networks and resources of the retail industry to help.
Our How
1) We leverage our companies, social media and influence to get the word out to the tremendous needs of over 140 million orphaned and 400 million vulnerable children.
2) We leverage our networks and skillsets to make real tangible differences by coming alongside feet-on-the-street charities where we can double, triple, or quadruple the impact funding projects, leveraging our networks to get items donated and people to come alongside. 3) We join boards or start other non-profits to do things better and help more charities. For instance, computer labs through CTRL+ALT+Del Poverty. https://ctrlaltdelpoverty.org/
Our What
Finally, we use our financial resources and donations to fund projects in the areas of clean water, life skills training, education, computer learning, family preservation and adoption where our impact can take charities to another level and help more children get a hand up and chance at society.
