About Rights for Peace
Rights for Peace is a human rights organisation working to prevent mass atrocities by supporting local actors in fragile states. Legal advocacy We use human rights tools to monitor and collate case studies on identity-based violations to contribute to upstream prevention of mass atrocities. 'Genocide is a process. The gas chambers did not happen over night. They started with hate speech'. Countering divisions We help strengthen local capacities and narratives of unity through human rights education, focusing on identity and non-discrimination. RfP is a member of the CICC and GAMAAC.
