At Rise Reforming, Inc. we see plastic waste as a virtually unlimited resource and envision a first of its kind plastic-to-dimethyl ether (DME) synthesis process. DME can be blended with propane to make a drop-in alternative fuel with significantly less emissions used for domestic cooking/heating, transportation, and agriculture. DME is also an environmentally friendly aerosol propellant used in air fresheners, hair spray, spray paint, and insecticides.
We'll make low-carbon DME at a price competitive with fossil-derived DME – all while erasing plastic waste.
