Rittal-CSM is the Plymouth-based UK manufacturing and engineering facility for Rittal, a leading global provider of industrial enclosures, power distribution, climate control, and IT infrastructure as well as software and services. It employs more than 550 members of staff at the 27,500 m2 facility, which features on-site fabrication, painting, assembly and logistics. Rittal's products and technology underpin global brands in industry, electronics, gaming, internet search engines and international social media networks, helping to drive tomorrow’s data centres and automated production lines. Founded in Herborn, Germany in 1961, Rittal is now the largest company in the Friedhelm Loh Group. It operates worldwide across 18 production sites and 78 international subsidiaries. The company employs 11,000 people worldwide.
