Riverhill Ventures was founded in 2014 as a socially conscious, strategic investment & consulting firm primarily focused on three sectors: Quick Service Restaurants, Natural Foods, and Consumer Brands. Riverhill’s mission is to invest and conduct due diligence in companies striving to solve consumer issues in a socially responsible and ethical manner.
In 2019, Riverhill acquired an ownership stake in four Playa Bowls (QSR) locations. Following the acquisition, Riverhill has provided strategic advice and capital through its hospitality-focused subsidiary, The Blackbeard Group, that will see expansion to eight locations within the Philadelphia/Main Line, Lehigh Valley, and Bucks County, PA regions by May 2020. Within the first year of ownership, legacy stores realized a 4% EBITDA increase while focusing on creating stable jobs within our respective markets to help support local economies and provide unmatched customer service experiences.
Additional investments/due diligence in other brands include: Joolies Organic Medjool Date Snacks & Syrups, Mayweather Fitness, Kinderlyte Farms, Enroot Beverage, Osso Good Bone Broth, Misunderstood Whiskey, and PsychHub.
