RIVIT (Raising Indigenous Voices in IT)

RIVIT (Raising Indigenous Voices in IT) is dedicated to increasing Indigenous representation in the tech industry. We empower young Indigenous Australians—primarily ages 12-18, but also younger and older participants—by providing digital literacy programs, IT workshops, and career pathways tailored to their communities. By bridging Traditional Knowledge with Modern Technology, RIVIT inspires the next generation to pursue meaningful careers in healthcare, education, environmental conservation, and beyond—shaping a future where Indigenous perspectives thrive in tech. All of our services are offered in-person (based in Cairns), remote or online across all of Australia, to ensure everyone can benefit from our services.
