Professor Robin Mackenzie established RMP in 1969 and the practice operates throughout the UK. Since 1997 it has been operating as an acoustic consultancy division of Edinburgh Napier University.
All RMP consultants are full members of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA). RMP test engineers are accredited by the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) and the Elmhurst Airtightness Scheme (EAS).
