Rochester Angel Network

The Rochester Angel Network is a private group of accredited investors in the Greater Rochester, NY Region with an interest in investing in seed and early stage startup companies. The network provides an accessible and efficient forum by which entrepreneurs can find potential investors, and investors can find deals of interest. RAN was formed in 2005 by a core group of local investors, to leverage each other's expertise in finding and evaluating investment opportunities. In 2013, those members formed the first Rochester Angel Fund, which further expanded RAN's membership base, and provided a means for additional diversification and enabled the group to speed the investment decision making process. The group meets monthly to listen to presentations by one or two selected entrepreneurs, and is actively seeking applications from both entrepreneurs who are seeking funding, as well as investors interested in becoming a member of the Network.
