RockÉTS is the aerospace club of the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal. Our team, consisting of approximately 40 talented students from various engineering programs, specializes in the design of high-power sounding rockets, the transportation of payloads to high altitudes, and the promotion of space sciences to a broad audience. To date, RockÉTS has successfully designed, built, and launched more than 11 high-power rockets, reaching altitudes exceeding 30,000 feet and carrying payloads weighing up to 10 pounds.
The team made a lasting impression from its first participation in the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) in 2013. Subsequently, the team rose to the top of the 30K COTS category at the prestigious Spaceport America Cup organized by the Experimental Sounding Rocket Association (ESRA).
Now, RockÉTS' goal is to build its own hybrid engine, Pana, and reach new horizons.
